4 Months Stats and the pumpkin patch

Well I went to the doctor Monday for my 4 month checkup and I'm as healthy as a horse.I weigh just under 16 lbs at 15.11.Which I have officially doubled my birth weight now.I'm right over 27 inches long still up around the 97th percentile range.Didn't like his shots too well either( I know duh,you think ) but he did better then the first time though which made me feel better (a little).I really love to eat my cereal now too.Now getting it twice a day.I'm trying my best to sit up too but its not going to happened (mommy doesn't think)till christmas at least.
Sweet sweet baby boy.

Evil eyed baby here! BOO!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch last week with our moms group and my little guy was so distracted by everything going around him that we couldn't get him to look directly at the camera(little goober). But he had fun even though it felt like 100 outside that morning.

See refusing to look at the camera

Hmm, what are all these big orange things sitting around me.

I don't want to smile mommy!

We were a little tired by the time we left.Leaning forward and downard in his stroller.Time to go home.

First Cereal Try

We tried cereal for the first time last week.It was funny and interesting to watch his expressions as he took the first few bites. He was a little leary at first but then he began to open his mouth and explore this new adventure.Just watch the faces he gives below.
I'm not too sure about this now.

Alright I will give it a try then.

Hmm,This is not bad at all.

All done,Belly full.

The Whole Family

My big boy is 4 months old today isn't amazing how time flies by.Hes grown so much and learning new things every day it seems like.We now officially roll over at least once a night I'll find him in a different position then I put him in.We have learned that we can grab our feet now.We love to stand up so the exersaucer is a blessing too us and he loves it it keeps him entertained for about 30 minutes at a time.We now know that we have a voice and he thinks the louder it is the more fun it is(nice huh).We are starting to reach out and grab for things so we now have extra careful.I will pobably start him on cereal in a few weeks too cause I can not seem to fill him up anymore and he loves to watch Beau and I eat.Its amazing to me how much growth can happen over a months period.

Heres my big baby Noah who I have had since I was 13.So you can imagine how special he is too me. Hes such a good natured boy who does and has put up with a lot.Hes as patient as he can be with the two littles.Who mostly torture each other but sometimes he becomes the victom. But he will give in and play off and on.Hes one special to me and my bed buddy to boot too.

Meet Chatter he got this name cause hes always talking and chirping.Hes a lot of fun.Loves playing on the pool table and up pn high places. You can carry on a conversation with its so funny.Hes going to be a big boy at not even 4 months hes half Noahs size and Noahs not a small cat.Loves to take naps in the window and has taken a liking to Ethans Bumbo Seat as you will see.He will be a interesting one indeed.

Meet Callie well that is what we are calling her for now since Beau and I can not decide on her name. She is quite a character always trying to steal food off our plates.Loves to play with balls, bows or basically anything that moves(strings etc). She is defintely the cuddle bug always up in your lap, computer desk or bed and just a purring away.Takes a lot of abuse from her big brother too but believe I seen her get in a few good knocks on him every so often.

A Better Week

Meet the newest members of the family.Names have yet to be determined.I talked Beau into going and looking at kittens yesterday at petco and too the same adoption place I got Lizzy from. They have always been so nice there and I have gotten several calls and emails over the past week of concern for us and my other cat Noah.So I said we will adopt from them again. So we walk in and Lizzy foster mom was in there and she knew me and Beau sat down put both kittens in his lap. They immediately curled up in his lap started purring and went too sleep. How do you say no to that.So anyways there are brother and sister(12 weeks) maine coon mixes(more maine in him I think then in her). They have been fun to watch and to also keep out of trouble as well.So instead of greiving weeks more we finally decided that it was better for both of us too expaned the family again while keeping Lizzy forever close too our hearts.
Doesn't she have the most unusual markings. But she is soo cute. She will be the cuddle bug.

Hes a little bigger and is most diffiently going to be a jumper and climber.

All snuggled together on the couch.

Look how precious curled up together in Ethans Massage chair.

Ethans first trip to Epcot last monday with Stacey and her family. He loved too look at the fish esp the Nemo ride.

I think we even some clown fish.We will have to go back when hes a little older too.

Nice hair huh! This is what happens when we put a little bit of lotion on his hair right after a bath.

Cheering last saturday for the Gators.Sadly they didn't win against LSU but they made it tough on them but Ethan supports his team no matter what.

Testing out his Exersaucer for the first time.Trying to figure out how to work this thing.

This is cool it makes noise and I can move around and all with my feet fimly on the ground

Check how sweet.By this point he was getting tired of the camera in his face but the pictures have only just begun. This is one of the outfits I first brought before we even knew he was a boy. My big boy is 16 weeks old today.Time flies!

Well...

I Love You Lizzy!

For anyone who may not have heard yet we had a difficult day today. Our year old Maine Coon kitten, Lizzy had been having issues the past week or so, lethargic, not eating much and generally not being her usual rambunctious and playful self. Taking her to the vet this morning we found that she had Feline Lukemia, which, sadly, is untreatable. Rather than have her continue to waste away over the next few days or weeks the decision was made to put her to sleep.

So, in memory of her here are a few pictures. We will miss the games of fetch with the Christmas bows. The frustration when we find another of Kellie's shirts with the strings chewed off. The nose-to-nose stare when she wanted to be fed at 6 in the morning. Digging her out of whatever new spot she had found to hide in the baby's room. But most of all, we will miss her. Goodbye Lizzy, we loved you and you will always own a place in our hearts.
I personally(Kellie) am having a very difficult time with this because I grew extremely close to Lizzy. She was the first one I opened my eyes too every morning. She was my cuddle buddy during the night either right beside me or up on my pillow.I remember bringing her home last christmas when she was so so tiny and about 4 lbs if that. Its so hard to loose a loved one and many times your pets are harder to loose then a member of your own family.I loved you so much sweetheart and because of you I will always go maine coon. You have left a permenant place in my heart that will not be forgotten.
