Sorry again for the long break in between updates.We have had a lot going on since the last time.Some good and some I would rather have avoided:P.I decided I had a little bit of free time to update you on us and give some pictures of our last Seaworld visit this month.
Ethan is in preschool in case someone didn't know and loving it and making new little friends.He has brought home so many craft projects since August that I am going to need a bin to put them all in.He is getting so tall too he is up to my waist already too.Its amazing!

He is torn here at the Dolphin show between actually watching the show or watch the little redhead a few rows down;)

I do believe the Stingrays were his favorite too.He gets to play with the water and pet something that feels strange and they spalsh back too which you know he loves.

We of course had to stop for a Ice Cream break and Chocolate was the winning flavor of course!

This was the end result to his day,he had fun and he wiped himself out.He walked over half of the day too.

Beaus Birthday at SeaWorld

Its been a while I know since I have been in to do the blog but its been a busy summer and things are finally starting to settle down a little bit.Beaus parents and Kate came down for the long holiday weekend too have a family weekend and it was a early birthday weekend for Beau too.This was Ethan first trip to Sea World and he had fun for the most part when he wasn't overtired and screaming for being overtired:P.
Ethan just started preschool almost a month too part time so I now have a few mornings too myself and that I'm still getting used too.He is having fun and his teacher said hes doing great except for him not wanting my to leave for a few minutes everytime the past week I have dropped him off.He has grown so much this summer and his word expansion is awesome now.He knows the body parts,his letters,his numbers,we are connecting multiple word sentences now.

Beau is showing him the Stingrays which were pretty cool to feel.
Cool huh?Felt like Velvet almost.

He kinda had mixed reactions about the Sting Rays after touching one!

They have a underwater viewing area for the Dolphins below and it was soo beautiful.

So Ethan turned 2 last week and its amazing how fast these 2 years have gone by.I love now that I can sit down and have a conversation eye to eye with him and I can understand what he is saying for the most part.
Ethan had a small party last weekend with a few of his little buddies and grandparents nothing really overdone since we spent all day at Disney the day before.

We see that this has wheels so we are immediately interested.
He was very picky about who touched his truck the rest of the day too.

Although sometimes Tissue Paper is just as fun as presents:P

Whats next mommy?

Ethan is playing with his bat while Eli found the Tissue Paper and continued where Ethan left off.

Just fun facts about Ethan:

I can not count off how many words hes saying

He has to watch Imagination Movers every morning and will say Movers Please.

Hes working on his 3 year Molars(and thats it on baby teeth).

His full sentences usually include "want" or "now".

He knows all of his Letters and Numbers which the doctor said they don't expect till 3 or 4.

Most of his Colors are down.

He starts Preschool in August part time.

He is a daredevil too is newest thing is walking off the bed(our bed) and laughing about it.

Hes a meat eater will eat any meat,bread or fruit,although veggies are still a challange at times.

He was measured at the doctors this week at be between 6 '2' and 6 '6'(I will really feel safe with my big boys to protect me later on).

He is starting to show signs of potty training too(YEA!).Its when hes ready not me!

We will try to start putting him in his toddler bed starting next month too.

He is the most gentle 2 year old to our pets too and they are not afraid to curl up in his lap.

He has so many stuffed animals in his bed its insane.

Every morning starts with "Hey Daddy or Hey Mama"

Every night Beau and Ethan have their rough house time(and the rougher the better)boys are so much fun.

He loves to help me around the house and even in the kitchen where he can(esp. the laundry and dishes).

He will read to us in his own Words.

Family Day at Animal Kingdom!

I thought it would be cool to take him to Disney for his birthday last week too.We went to Animal Kingdom and all of us had a blast.He behaved very well for a 2 year old that had a 20 minute nap all day too.His Favorites were the Nemo Musical which I would have love to get picture or a video of but they don't allow it while the musical is going.He also loved the Safari Ride too where you get to ride in a open Safari truck and get a little closer to the animals.We will take him back to Animal Kingdom.That one was a winner.

I think he did that to his own hair.It did get a little on the humid side and he is rather hot natured.I think it looks kinda cool though.

Ethan and Beau always have their daddy/son time every night after dinner and a bath.Its so sweet to see them spend time together.Sometimes its rough housing and sometimes they are sitting on the floor in his room reading,building Legos or doing puzzles.I just think its great how good a dad Beau is.It makes me proud.Ethan will be 2 next week by the way.2!

We had a fun Mothers Day weekend.Ethan now has his own little pool to play in so for those days we can't get over to Grandma and Papas he can still cool off in what was real summer weather this past weekend.He is his own personality now thats for sure.He is saying about 75 to 100 words clearly and my not even 2 year old can count to 10:D I'm so proud.He also knows most of his ABC's and this will help out a lot for when he goes to preschool in the fall too.He's ready too.
Daddy is throwing him on bed which loves too.The rougher the better.

This is a bedtime routine that these two have created.The rougher the better like I said before.To the Grandmothers Ethan loves to be tossed like this too so do not worry or get on to Beau about it.Its so cool to see him want to play and roughhouse with Daddy till he gets to the point where he can hurt Beau then we will have to figure out something different;-)

Zoo Day!

My parents and us took Ethan to the Zoo this past weekend.It was a nice day out and we got our dose of exercise thats for sure he ran all over the place.The stroller lasted about maybe 5 minutes at a time.Its always fun though(tiring but fun).

The Jaguars are always my favorite.The cubs have gotten huge as big as mommy now.

The Otters were all wound up.Probably getting restless for their lunch to show up.

They were coming right up to the glass,clowning around was a bonus for everyone watching too.

He loved the Otters mainly cause he could run up and down the stairs and ramps.TOO MUCH ENERGY!Or I don't have enough:P

Ethan has developed an addiction to Applesauce it seems.Does not care what the flavor or what he eats it with.Everything goes with Applesauce:P.He goes though one of those large jars in under 2 weeks.Note:Ketchup and Applesauce make a favorite combo dipping sauce in his opinion:D.Gross I know but not to him.

Ethan got to color Eggs this year on his own.It was so much fun watching him.We got to have all four grandparents down this Easter too which was nice.As soon as he saw he was going to get to make a mess and not get in trouble for it he dove right in.

The Good Life

My cats know they have the good life and they are not afraid to show at any time.Take Chatter I claim him to be Beau's cat but he just a all around family cat most of the time.The pictures I took of them may make them look small too,but these two are packing at about 10 lbs a piece.Well he may be more now because hes grown since I took him in for his checkup.

Is he winking,I just noticed that.

The New Do!!

It was Time It was Do.Ethan went in to get his hair cut this morning for the first time.I have been keeping it trimmed as much as I could do by myself so far.I took him to Snip-Its just to see what all my friends were raving about and it was cool in there I would like to get mine cut there.He immediately went over to the big steering wheels and mirrors they had.He just kept looking at me like what are you doing to me mommy?
We put him in the chair he had a little resistance at first,but once we found what worked(the bubbles,crackers and mirrors)then he stay perfectly still and did just fine.Thats why you will see most of the pictures with something in his mouth too cause he was chowing down on some Animal Crackers.

After I had to drag him out of there screaming(because he didn't want it leave) I tried to get a after picture of him.Which I would have prefered without something in his mouth but you get what you can take sometimes with toddlers.

We went by and got some Chicken Fingers on the way home for lunch for being such a good boy this morning too.Just chowing down once again.

Intently watching T.V. as I try to take his picture again.Still with the food in the mouth as you can tell.This seems to be turning into a tread.HMMM;)

Well there will not be any pictures up this time because will I haven't found the time yet to take them.We moved into our house this past weekend and things are finally starting to settle down a little bit.There are boxes still all over the place and not everything has been put in place but its a process in the making.
Ethan has done a lot better then I thought he was going to do.He had kind of a first rough night waking up once not knowing where he was and slept between Beau and I for awhile before putting him back to bed.Hes been fine ever since though.The cats on the other hand took a little longer,they hissed at each other for a good 4 or 5 days before settling down to normal.
There will be pictures up the next time I post(or I am going to try).I am trying my best to get the place ready for my parents anniversary party the third weekend of the month too.Which my family is coming to see us(or some of them).We are very blessed though to have upon our house.I love it,I love the room,Ethan is enjoying it so much.God has been good to us that is for sure.:D

Ethan just figured out how to work the floor fan we have in the hallway.He thinks it so cool that he turns a button and all this air blows right at him.He'll even do a little dance for ya sometimes as well.I have quite a character let me tell ya.We are moving into a bigger place this coming weekend and I know he will love it.We took him over yesterday after my mom and I cleaned that whole house and let him have the run of it for the first time while there was still nothing in it .He loved it especially the porch and its awesome too that we went straight to his new room without us telling him which one it was:D

Sorry the video is sideways it kept getting turned around.Just try and keep up cause he does one of his quick little dances when he turns it in.Its so funny!

Gliders,Boxes and Bumbo Seats!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks.Its been a little crazy around here.We are moving into a larger house in a few weeks and I have been trying to get everything ready.Ethan has been a real sport about everything so far to.

I am amazed that he will be 20 months in a few days.It will not be long before I start planning his 2nd birthday (wow!).He is climbing on everything he can to and with boxes all over the place he has taken it upon himself to see how high he can get up before we catch him.

He says I don't know how many words now because I can't keep up.Although he only says a few words that Beau and I can only understand so far,but we are getting there.He knows where several body parts are,he understands give kisses and hugs.I plan on putting up a video I got of him watching "The Happy Monster Band"too cause its so funny the way he completely zones out:D.

Weekday morning cartoons have him in a zone big time here.

It was pretty chilly here this week and yes I said it,but you have to remember that we are thin-blooded Florida people.Beau started softball Tuesday on what was the coldest week we have had in quite a while with wind chills in the low 20's.So he went out and got him something to cover his head this past weekend.When I saw the hat I told Beau to put it on Ethan,I couldn't refuse.

He knows he is HOT STUFF let me tell ya!!
This is so precious,you have to laugh.

I walked up front to check on him this morning and this was what I found.He climbed up in the glider with Callie.I couldn't get the camera out fast enough because her head was laying on his lap.Buddies for life,she is so good with him.

He wouldn't stay still for the picture because he had waaaay to much energy;0)

Ahh!Morning cartoons I love them that the only time he will sit remotely still is for just few particular ones while I get a few things done.

Ethan is 19 Months

Ethan is 19 months now and it seems like he grows every day now.He climbed onto our higher bed today for the first time too and that could mean trouble for me.Means I'll just have to watch even closer because he has no sense of fear.
As you can see by the picture my kid has nothing to play with too;).He did have his 18 month checkup last week(late do to christmas) and his stats came out again to be as they normally have been.He is very healthy and very much has developed his own rebellious personality somewhat too.Doctor said pysically and techinally wise he is well ahead of his age and he is saying as many clear words as he should for his age too.

He is right at 36 inches tall(off the charts again)
Just under 28 lbs (I'm betting he will be over 30 lbs by June)

Ethan finally got to play with his race car track yesterday.Well Daddy and Ethan as you can see both of them on the floor having a good time.It didn't take Ethan long how to work it either.Its cute now but hopefully the newness will wear off a little by the end of the week.If hes not eating or sleeping in the last 24 hours its on over and over.Its all good though.
Just look at his face its moments like this that will be treasured forever.Especially when both daddy and son are playing together.

Ethans 2nd Christmas!

Well we just got back from a rather busy yet fun week of seeing family over Christmas.Ethan was in much better spirits this time then at Thanksgiving.Mainly because he was not cutting four teeth;).We left for Live Oak Monday morning and he was ready to go.He loves to travel and does better during daylight hours then night hours for some reason to.

It didn't take him 20 minutes before he was out like a light.

We woke up just in time for lunch and we were rather excited about it.It seemed like he didn't stop eating all week long.

We spent Christmas Eve at my Aunts house in South Ga and actually managed to get all the cousins (except my brother) at once.Ahh my crazy family who I don't get to see nearly enough;).

Natalie and me.We have been best friends since we were babies.

Christmas Morning at Beaus parents.Ethan is wondering what was in store for him today.No telling when you visit family.

At first he was only interested in the bright tissue paper.Then he saw others things coming out of the paper then we became involved.

Friday morning we headed over to my Grandmas in Jacksonville for another day of food and presents.He ate,upwrapped and head to napping land soon there afterwards;)

He got the Tadoodles markers.those things are cool. A cool Vtech Phone that did all sorts of neat stuff.

On our way home Saturday afternoon he fought it with everything he could but his little eyes finally gave in.He had a busy week.

We had pizza saturday night because it was easy and I like easy especailly when we just get back from traveling.He just dived into it.Its been awile since he has made this good a mess.

Good pizza mommy.

We are now climbing and really loving it.Of course I'm still scared that he will try and walk off the couch(again!)and damage something and not really his head so much as other things around him.I put pillows and blankets all around in cause but most of the time he does good about getting down the correct way.The only thing we haven't conquered yet is our bed because its a little higher.
He turned 18 months this week and he actually let me measure him(35 and a third inches) but I have not a clue what he weighs since we will not stand still long enough to get on the scale;-).He doesn't go back for a check up till after the new year then we don't have to go for 6 months YEAH!.
We are up up swinging that leg and....

We are on couch YEAH he says.Look at that big toothy grin.

We are all proud of ourselves thank you very much!

Something required him to drop his jaw,I have no idea what though.

Thanksgiving "08"

Well Ethan had his first Thanksgiving away from last month and I don't know what was up with him but he was completely out of sorts for no other reason that I could see except teething.We went to my Grandmothers first for Wednesday Thursday and part of Friday.He loves his Gigi which I'm so glad too seeing that he doesn't get to see her but 3 or 4 times a year.

This was the only picture I got all weekend with a true smile.
Both about to fall asleep after a big lunch and watching football.

A early present from Beau's parents for Ethan although he wasn't in the mood to ride or be civilized about anything.Cute though isn't it hopefully I can pictures of him riding it at christmas.

He has been very Daddy attached since we left in which for Beau to even get a shower we had to peel him off and hear the meltdowns for a few minutes there afterwards.

So sweet though.

Outside with his pops looking at the decorated tree outside that everyone helped with while he napped Friday.Again no smiles.

And again look at that pouty face,More mad I think then anything.

One of the rare moments he actually stayed in his chair and ate.Did not want to sit in the chair and eat.He would rather sit in Beaus lap and eat instead.

Rhonni(Beaus mom) taking him for a ride in the Golf Cart they have.And the faster it went the better.Actually got a smile a few times out of him too.

Dancing,Space and Bathtime Fun!

Ethan turned 17 months today and I officially have a crazy toddler on my hands.His new thing is he likes to dancing and it doesn't matter if there is music or not.He's my little goofy man and as you will see in the video below his dancing moves need some work but its his way and he makes his self laugh so hard that he falls over while dancing and gets right back up and continues.Its so funny!Altough I couldn't get the video to turn right side up no matter how many times I edited and corrected it but enjoy anyway.
We attempted I guess is the word to go watch the big air show at Kennedy Space Center a few weeks ago with some friends and it didn't work out sadly,but we did get to spend some time with our friends and we drove out to this park and got such a good view of the Shuttle that we will remember this spot for other launches and even air shows to come.

Doing his own thing in the tub and completely ignoring me.

The reason for it being a little blurry is we have a three way mirror around the tub and when he won't turn around I aim it at the mirror and it works most of the time but when you have a litle who likes to splash and put water everywhere.Well you see my point;-)

Pumpkins,Kitties and Craziness

So what have we been up too lately.Well Ethan got to help me crave his first pumpkin a few weeks ago.Kept trying to stick his hands in to help pull out the goop and it didn't bother him when he did either(all boy here).We no longer really want to be held either unless its his choice.
I took him to Beau's softball games the other night and for the first game he was non-stop energy like a battery that wouldn't quit and my dad was running around after the second game so I could actually watch one and he's like that everywhere now.He has to go up and down the stairs himself now with me holding his hand of course.We are seriously becoming Mr.Independent.
With Thanksgiving coming just in a few weeks too he is going to get to sample so much he might come back 30lbs.Last thanksgiving all he could eat off our plates was mash potatoes;-)

We are into building things now too.Anything that stacks or closes together he's into it.

Beau puts a unpluged keyboard in front of his soo when Ethan' is in his lap he's not pushing all over his keyboard and messing up or closing Beaus down.He beats on it too.

Ethan's Pumpkin that he helped me carve that why it looks a little imperfect,I think it looks good though for something that a 17 month old help do.

Pumpkins and Bubbles!

Last Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with the moms and kids from church and Ethan wasn't out a very happy camper.After he inhaled his lunch we became very dis interested in every thing else and decided to go off and do our own thing.He was hot and cranky and didn't want to sit still for the camera at all which told me he wanted to be somewhere a little cooler.

This is the best picture that I could get out of him that afternoon.Very displeased with the whole ordeal.
There is sort of a smile there!

Can you believe he turned his back on a camera and walked away from me.Sadly for me to he has started what they all call the "2 year old tantrums" too and that is going to be different for me.

I'm tired mommy can we go home now please!

When we got home he was tired yes but he was also sweaty and dirty from playing in the dirt so we got in the tub to clean up a bit.He does love the bathtub too.Plus we have to have bubbles every time too(or as Ethan calls then"bubbies").

Trying to share with me and ask to build something for him so he could knock it over of course;-)

As soon as he hears me pop the cap off the camera he comes running over just like a cat at dinner time.He loves to give me the goofiest expressions and why not.Besides it makes for great memories.Enjoy my little man's pictures as much as he did.;-)Extra note those brown p.j's he is wearing are 3T's (wow).Thought I would share that especially to anyone getting him clothes for christmas.He can't wear anything smaller then a 2T now!

Its been a year!

I can't believe it's been a year since we brought our two little fuzz balls home.Of course I'm going to say this but they have become such a huge joy in our lives.Nothing can replace what you may have lost but they sure enough filled a hole at least in my heart that I so muched needed especially this past year.

Chatter is the talker,climber and the one who snuggles up with me every night as soon as the lights go out hes up beside my pillow,although last night I found his head and front legs perched up on my side purring away.So sweet!
Callie is the lover and kisser and is always for a handout from Ethan at every mealtime.

Hehe caught him in mid yawn.He still loves to get into Ethan's bumbo seat or wedge himself into it I should say.

We are going to have to get this girl a nice window perch when we get into a house next,as much as she likes to be up high.

Just look at the whiskers on this animal.Hes still growing by the way too.

Since I've discovered my child loves the camera I figured might as well take advantage of it.We have figured out about only 30 words he is saying pretty clear now.However he is always working on about 10 more a day it seems.When he is done eating he says all umb(all done) and tries to push his tray out.He said water pretty clearly the other day and should since that and milk is mostly what he drinks.We have discovered G2 Gatorade now too and he loves it and I don't mind so much because its half the sugar of Gatorade and I half and half it.

He loves his monkey.This is the one Beau got him his first christmas!Can you say AWE!

Beau told him to smile,we laughed instead.Close enough!

If you look really closely you can see molars popping though on the top!

Daddy Time

Ethan has spent a lot more time these past few weeks with Beau then normal and lets just say hes enjoyed his extra daddy time.As soon as Beau walks though the door every evening I'm totally invisible till dinner time of course.He is coming into a real fun age now too.I wish they could start at this age cause hes a blast and it never ends when you want a good laugh we always wait for it cause right before bed he gets so goofy(not cranky) and it hilarious to watch him act like a little nut.

My life would be boring if it wasn't for my little man!

15 Months

Ethan just had his 15 month check up this week and passed with flying colors.He is doing everything he is supposed to be doing.I went to the doctor by my self with him this time since I didn't want to bother Beau with it.Even though he was going to get shots,but the doctor said only 2 shots today and they are very mild on the stinging part.I believed her but Ethan didn't:-).This was the first time he has gotten shots and not broken a tear.Just a little whimper and that was it then we were back to talking.
That is another thing to he has become a little voice recorder and is now able to pick up on things very quickly.Which doesn't surprise me one bit.He doesn't have to go back till after christmas now which I'm thankful for and I know he is too.

Those who are interested here are his stats:Hes on track right now to be about 6'4 the doctor said.

Height 34.25 - off the charts,percentile wise
Weight 25.4 - 70% percentile

As you can see my kid loves his Lasagna very much.We just place it down in front of him and let him go for it.Magically though he hasn't gotten any of it on the floor yet(knock on wood).Just gets all over him and the highchair and it so cute.He usually eats about 1 to 1 and a half pieces of good sized Lasagna too.

We are in for it when he gets a good teenage boy appetite;-)

We are getting full,slowing down.

Well we have had a fun two weeks between Fay and a stomach bug going around our house.I'm sorry I have not posted in while its mainly because my life has been a little nuts.Ethan has been a handful.We have decided to start I call some control issues within toddlerhood.Its super fun and to anyone who has a toddler or had one knows what I'm talking about.So after Fay decided to rain on us all week and completely mess up our schedules.Along comes an awesome stomach bug and that is always fun tell me tell ya;-).So I still trying to get Ethan readjusted back to normal and it taking some work but this has all been an experience too.
Pictures of Fay left behind for us to view,The truck wasn't bad at all but Beau had to rescue the car and move it to a higher ground cause it was nearing the top of the tires.

14 months!

Where does the time go.I can still remember when I brought him home from the hospital and now he is already a toddler and acting like one too.We have discovered temper tantrums and oh what fun.He does what we call his"happy dance" when we not paying him any attention for maybe a minute he will run over jerk on our legs and gives us about 3 seconds to react before he stomps in a circle and falls to the floor that is Ethans happy dance everybody.
We are also learning new words every day too we now have Uppies which "up please",uh-oh is a coughing sound followed by "oh",and hes got names down for all three kitties too,when I say Noah he says Nohoo,When I say Callie he runs over to her and tries to give her a hug(sounds to much like Kitty right now too), and when I say Chatter he says"Neeowl" cause thats mostly what he says is meow.Plus Chatter is not a quiet cat either!

And hes bond to be speaking pretty clear by Christmas the way he is always babbling and talking and trying to repeat everything we say:-).I think I'm going to have to child-proof a little better too cause this kid is so mechanically minded that hes figured out the printer,the doors on the entainment center and buttons on the DVR(so we have a game of ON-OFF with that).He likes to turn over all his cars and trucks and mess with the wheels and whats underneath and how its working.Can you say mechanic or civil engineer here.He also found tummies to be quite interesting to we'll playing the belly game he walks up and lifts up beau or my shirt then we lift up his and it starts him and he thinks its soo funny that he starts pulling up his own shirt just so we will tickle him.My kid is a trip I tell you what,never a dull moment in this house:-)

Hey everyone I am 13 months now and growing like a weed still.Mommy measured me this week at 33 inches,I'm up to the top of my mommys legs now so I don't think I'll have a problem reaching 6 feet like daddy said I would before I was born.I'm starting to really try and put words together now too.Though still you want understand what I'm saying it sounds more like talking though.
He's so cute he has started to read aloud to himself or anyone that will listen now and turn the pages while doing it.And I maybe just imaging it but I thought I heard him say mommy the other day(not mama).That kinda surprised me a little but not a whole lot seeing that hes putting so many sounds together the last few weeks.Oh and I couldn't get the video at the bottom to flip around the right way so if you can't make it out hes playing with one of his bouncy ball and listen to the sound he makes every time he picks it up,altough this does not do it justice.
So cute,of course thats just my opinion.

First off,when you get done looking at these pictures you might think I take way to many pictures of my pets but in my book I don't take enough.I've always had a strong love for my pets and even now with a husband and kid it really hasn't changed at all.I just like to show off my family and yes that means even the ones with fur.My two fur babies just turned a year this month and they still act so much like the day we brought them home last year.They have been a blessing in my life and more then anything help to heal a hole from last year in me so much quicker.

Chatter Bug he still tries to wedge himself into Ethans bumbo seat that he quite using at christmas.He gives me dirty looks if I move or miss place it somewhere too.This cat has a huge personality:-)

We had a fun busy holiday weekend on the 4th of July,and since Ethan would not remember last years being two weeks old:).We wanted to do lots of stuff.He was an on the go little man,which he always is to say the least.Always willing to go out with mommy on errands,lunch with grandma.Lets just say he knows excatly where we are when I pull into the Target parking lot;-).Anyways on to our filled weekend.
Ethan got a wagon for his birthday a few weeks ago and last week he decided to become daddys little helper while Beau was putting it together.He is intriged by wheels too.Beau left it upside down for a bit just to see how long we would sit there and spin the wheels.The funniest thing was seeing him trying to get all the wheels to go at once.

He sat there for at least a good 20 to 30 minutes just playing with the wagon wheels.

He is also becoming all boy because he now wants to figure out how things are put together too.My little future Engineer:)

Our fourth started right after his morning nap.We went to granmas and papas for grilled hamburgers and potato salad(which is what he ate).While they were grilled we took him over to their pool.I tell you what this kid loves the water.We have to do all in our power to prevent him from trying to go down into the water.I hope he continues to love water and become mommys little fish.

Then after his afternoon nap we went to a BBQ at our friends house from church.She got the bouncy house from the church for the kids to play in.And Ethan got in it when all the bigger kids moved on to something else.He actually had fun bouncing in it.He played and played till we had to leave.He was upset when we had to leave cause he was having such a good time,but I had no problem getting him to bed that night,despite the loud fireworks right outside our window:)

He loves this floaty.Its a arm saver since when I have to hold him he tends to want to stay still for maybe 5 secends:).Its like holding on to a wet slippery fish.This way he can move with ease.

He browns up like a little bear and I put 50 spf on him at all times.He loves being outside there is no mistaking that.

Its bedtime mommy I'm tired.

Saturday brought yet another beautiful day on our long weekend. So we decided to take his wagon out for a spin.He loves cause he can see everything and most important to him he can see me.

Ethans Birthday Week!

Ethan turned One last week and we didn't have a birthday we had a birthweek around here.Beau had off his Birthday so we decided to go to the Zoo and out to lunch before he completely wore himself out.We had all or most of the family come in on Wenesday and it was pretty kicked back for the most part because we could not go out and do anything because it decided to rain and pretty heavy too.We do not complain about rain around here anymore the more the better.Thursday he had his one year doctors appointment and was not trilled at all.When it came down to shots he does better every time.It still wants to make me cry when he cries:(.All is good though we went swimming everyday except Saturday that week.
This kid loves the water and I hope it stays that way.I have to keep him from going under.He would stay in the pool all day if he could.It was so funny one day last week I was hanging on to him by his arms and I had the rest of him floating.Just as relaxed as he could be.The other Grandma has the pictures of that which I would like to get copies of when you get a chance too.
We got a few pictures of Beaus Family before they left Saturday evening.Ethan was so tired and over stimulated bless his heart.

Such a pretty cake.Publix always does such a great job and it tastes really good too.

I'm sure you can guess by now what the main theme of his party was.

This was only my family it quickly got much larger a pile.Ethan can't ever say he doesn't have enough toys or clothes.This kid is never enough as you might see.:-)

This is a new game we play now.Pretending to be shy.This is right before everyone showed up at my parents home for his party.Such a cute boy.

He did not any part of the cake that day.He didn't understand why he was the only oneeating and why was everybody watching me.He was mad because he wanted to get down on the floor and socialize.He was fine when we got him out of the highchair.The kids were trying to get him interested ,but he was not having any part of it at the time.So Beau and I took the barely touched cake home and did it with just us the next evening and see if that made a difference.

Such a tired and serious little face.He didn't even last the 7 minute ride home from my parents house. Sunday evening we put plastic on the floor under his chair and he stred at it at first then I gentlely put his hand in it and he was like o.k.Then he was reaching for something and got it all over his arm.Then we started laughing and he thought something is funny so he giggleled because we were and then that did it he started to rub it all over him.

Every time we laughed he started rubbing it on him agian it was a cycle.He had it everywhere his eyes,face,chest,down one leg and arms.He did much better with just Mommy and Daddy and he didn't feel weird with people staring at him.

Moments like this last a lifetime and a sheer priceless.

He even had it all in his hair.It was so cute.

On Ethans First birthday we decided to take him to the Zoo.We got there right after the doors opened to beat the heat and crowds.Well we beat the crowds only.It was a hot one that tuesday.He loved the animals,the plants and he really loves to people watch.We wanted a family day before all the relatives came in the next day with our big birthday boy.

Tell us how old you are Ethan!

He loves the Spider Monkeys.For some reason a lot of the animals decided to be extra lazy that morning.Can't say I really blame them with the humidity it flet like at least 90 in the sun before 10 am.(summer is in full swing in central florida).

The otters decided to play possum with us,but they were not quick enough before I got a quick snap of at least one before they ducked back into their little cave or den or whatever you call it.

As you might tell Ethan has gotten rather large if you have not seen him in while.His head is not much smaller then mine:-).

My kid loves trees and plant life oddly enough.Sides he can reach them better when Beau has him(hehe).

These were the tiniest little monkeys so cute but again it was kinda hard to get a picture of them cause they were playing peek-a-boo.

We just could not leave without seeing the Graiffes.This is an actual closeness no zooming in.He came up right to us.Just wanted someone to pet him no food required.Ethan tried to pet it once reached out then looked at me with the strangeist look on his face like"mommy that is the weirdest cat I've ever seen"

Ethan went to the Doctor for his 1 year check up and got a full 100 % clean bill of health.She said he is doing everything he is supposed to be doing at this point.Can start him on real milk now"yeah" and he is not restricted too having any type of food now either.He can have PB&J now :).Doctor said him throwing and tossing the balls around to someone is a 18 months skill.I say I have a pretty smart kid myself.

His stats were for those interested are.

23 pounds and 15 ounces-70% percentile(he tripled his birth weight:-)
32 inches long-97%percentile

So he still keeping his stats pretty high up there

A year ago on Fathers Day!

One year ago on Fathers Day we got a early surprise.Ethan came and oh what an experience,it was painful,it was uncomfortable,but it best feeling in the world to see my tiny little boy for the first time and as you might tell he has changed so much in a year.He has been a blessing to all of our family and I believe has brought some of us closer together.As a mother too it made me cry a little both from happiness but also sadness that he already has developed so much independence just in a year alone.

June,17th 2007-2 hours old

1Month,That was one the first smiles we got out of him

2 Months,Already very much liking this camera thing.

3 Months,First time in his Bumbo seat trying to seat by himself and very sleepy too.

4 Months,At the Pumpkin Patch the the mommy group enjoying the sunshine.

5 Months,He loved his Exersaucer,spent hours at a time in there.

6 Months,This is one of my favorite picture of him,look how precious(sniff,sniff).Merry Christmas!

7 Months,Learning how to crawl.

8 months,My little Valentine just started pulling up on his feet for the first time.

9 months,He started to have a interest in feeding himself so we let him in which as you see is covered in spaghetti sauce,soo cute.

10 months,We are everywhere,Starting to get a mouthful of teeth one right after the other.

11 months he started to walk,talk more and we now love too sing to anyone who will listen.

Ethan and the Three Stooges

Its official I have a kid that loves the camera.Hmm,wonder where he got that from.Anyways,he is walking even better then when I last posted its now half and half with the walking to crawling.He is also getting a mouthful of teeth as you might see too.Working on his eighth one now to poke though,which has made him rather fussy at times,but it isn't all bad.We are ready for his First birthday next week and I think mommy is more excited then anyone,plus all the family and friends who get to spend most of the week with us too.Daddy said something about going to the Zoo for his Birthday Tuesday before everyone comes in,so we could spend our day with the birthday boy for a special time together
He thinks now I can walk I can go over,though and under anything I want.Well we got stuck trying to go though the Tonka Truck and thought it was funny for about 30 seconds before we started to have meltdown.As you can see I got the camera on him within those 30 seconds:-)

Such a pretty boy this Cat has turned out to be.I knew he would its hes getting so big and Beau may laugh at me but so so smart too.

Just minding her own business in the laundry basket,not bothering anyone.

Then alond comes Ethan and turns her over and she stays in then he starts spinning her around she takes about 2 minutes of it before she has enough and bolts just to the other side of livingroom wasn't that tramatic I guess.

He decided that grabbing the camera was more fun then harrassing Callie now.I have big fingerprints still on the lens I believe.

Ok mommy if you won't let have the camera I'll go somewhere else and make a mess.

Chatter still doesn't know weather or not to trust Ethan if Ethan comes near him hes fine,he touches hes fine,he squeels at him,not fine,then we take off.

This is a game Noah likes to play with the kittens so he has an excuse to start a tumble session and not look like he started it.He loves to whip his tail real fast right in front of the kittens so that it entices them to attack his tail and as you will see further down he responds by turning around and picking a fight back.Its for attention not much else(hehe)

Ethan loves Callie and Callie loves Ethan they are buddies.

Ahh!The Laziness!!

Just proof that inexpensive toys are fun too(esp.for young ones).I found a area in the toy department at Target that has toys for under 3 bucks a piece and I feel like I can buy my child something more often then not without breaking the bank and spoil him just a little too:-)

Sink Kitty!I was trying my best yesterday to clean the bathroom when Callie decided she wanted to get in the way the best she knew how.So she crawled down into the sink(right before I was going to clean it,otherwise it wouldn't be funny) and decided she was not going to move till she took a smell of the lysol and said okay I'll move now(but only for a few minutes:)

Well Ethan has decided too accomplish a new goal.HES WALKING!!Yep took his first steps a few weeks ago and is getting beter and faster each day.He's going to be running by my birthday next month.
Such a determined look on my little guys face

He loves to play ball though its probably his favorite thing to do now.I will have to get a video of Beau and him playing together its so cute.Ethan does know how to throw it too.Kid already has a pretty good arm on him.

Ethan will be 1 in a few weeks.My how time flies by.Seems like I shortly came home from the hospital not to long ago with a tiny fragile little boy.Now look big and strong(or as Beau calls him "dozer" as in he likes to pow into things with his head sometimes).My baby is now showing interest in learning how to walk too.We are truly blessed to have such a good child and no I'm not just saying that either.God was good to us to give such a smart precious, loveable, little boy and I know he will be a blessing in everything he does it will only get better.
Callie has been such a joy to have with us.She is so so loving and so so sweet that it makes me happy that she has bonded with Ethan too.I truly believe that that would try and protect him to if she felt anything or anyone were trying to do him wrong.Shes small(about 8 pounds) but you back her into a corner and look out.

Ahh!Chatter it would have never been complete around here without the never ending entertainment from this cat.Always a picture taking moment available.He like a dog I'm telling you.He gets up in your face when he wants to be fed or just wants food in his bowl just too insure its there when he wants it.He is bonded to Beau very much.He wakes Beau up almost every morning not just to get fed,but wants him up and out of the bed so he has someone to pay him some attention or so he can take the spot on the bed sleep.He has conversations with you,I mean hes one of a kind.

Look at that big smile and getting a mouth full of teeth to help fill it up.

When he wants Beaus attention he will sleep anywhere around his desk cause he knows Beau will have to come back over that direction shortly.Like under the chair.

I don't know what Ethan quite knew what to think about whatever it was that I was doing to him at the moment.

No matter what I do I can not get my Noah to took at the camera.I don't think he takes kindly to the camera in his face for one thing.Hes my baby though.Still curls up with me on the couch.Still lays at the foot of the bed at night.He is my first "child" that I picked out myself when I was 13 so there is a small attachment here.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day sunday.I spent my first official mothers day with my boys and my mom all day.I can not explain the feeling that you get this day applies too you so much more then it did before.Altough I didn't get to sleep in because we had to get up and get ready for church.It still was a good day we didn't do much the first part of the day after church except eat lunch and everyone(including the cats) took naps.Before heading out to dinner with my family for a mothers day dinner.

I tell you one thing my kid loves to get in the bath tub.Although he will probably dislike me for pictures like this later on but he is so much fun at bathtime that I had to take advantage of it .Plus being a camera ham helps too as you can tell.You can't tell that I love taking pictures of my kid or anything.
He has way to many toys to play with at once in the tub all of them have to be dumped out every time of course!

His cow licks always decide to come to life when I wash his hair he has like 3 or 4 of the things.Which makes his hair fun to play with.

He does love his bath time.Hope he continues to be that way.

As you can see he is starting to get a mouth full of teeth.The top ones have come though and already we are working on two more that I can see.Thats good cause my boy likes to eat his meat.

Talking Talking Talking!Thats mostly what hes doing now a days.We have been trying to say "no" now which I knew would come back to get me.His N's are the letter of the month right now.This child is always trying to tell us something.

6 weeks and counting till my baby boy will be a whole year old.Where does the time fly.It seems like it was just a few months ago I walk into the hospital and held this little tiny baby in my arms for the first time.It was love at first sight.While I'm busy starting to plan his party hes been a busy little man of his own.We have stood up a few times now and not even known it till he looks down and has to grab ahold of something the move his feet (not scared just unsure).

Just a random picture of one of the most relaxed cats will will ever meet.Half hanging off the computer desk and doesn't care.

We have discovered "singing" now.He just does this high squeally tones up and down just randomlly thoughout the day and night to entertain himself.Its so cute unless the decides to do it in high tone right in your ear.Then it tends to make your ears sing.

I made my homemade spaghetti the other night and he would not eat unless I gave in and let him have the bowl so I did and this was the result which left about a 1/3 on him and the highchair,but its all good times.

So serious about his food here.plus he finally has teeth to help chew better too.Spaghetti is one of his favorites so far and garlic bread(which I dare not forget).

Ethan is now in the stage where he likes no loves to talk.He now says Mama instead of something close too it.We think sometimes hes trying to sing in his own terms and its so cute.It can get rather loud but its priceless too watch.I'm now in the process of starting to plan his 1st birthday party(Yeah!).The past year went by so fast.

10 Months old on Thursday and nothing is holding Ethan back from moving where he wants to go.I have a very active child on my hands I can tell already with the climbing and trying to stand all by his lonesome.He is such a good baby though God has truely blessed us in that area.He's all boy already a flirt big time.All rough play and getting messy none of that proper stuff.He will be a handful I know but I can see Beau and I are going to continue to have so much fun with him in the process.

I haven't put up a blog in few weeks things have been a little crazy around here so here are a few of my cute cute boy who will 10 months next week.

We were up visiting Beaus family a few weeks ago and Aunt Kate is bouncing him up and down.Hes trying to hang on by the look on his face.

Ethan just had his first Easter and I decided too do him all up in a shirt,pants and tie.He kept all of it on too.He was so handsome.We still have to get our family pictures out but he got into his Easter baskets with fun on Sunday as well.He got all kinds of goodies from Grandma,Rhonnie and Mommy.Hope everyone had a beautiful Easter.

Some people have called me brave and or crazy,and all because I have a husband and 9 month old and on top of it I have two rather large wild kittens and another cat I've had since I was 13.But I tell you what I wouldn't trade this life for anything right now.Its full of never ending surprises and fun and as much as Beau and I might have to keep getting onto the critters for one thing after another they are soo much fun.I lot of work yes but so much fun.

Nine Months!

Ethan is now nine months old and acting like it.He is a big healthy boy cause checked out at the doctors this week with flying colors.He came in at 30.25 inches long which is still up into the 95% percentile and came in at weighing just over 20 pounds which the doctor said is a good balance for a taller baby.
We know sometimes think we can stand by ourself already cause he has let go of the couch a few times and stood for about 8 seconds before falling forward.It seems he will be more of a dare devil like mommy was.The cats are now a goal to catch and not just an object in his path.So they pretty much stay clear of him except Callie who will take getting beat on most of the time.
I'm still working on saying Mama cause Dada or Dade seems to be most of what he says right now which is fine but I know I'll just melt when he says it correctly for the first time.Geez hes even said Kit-te a few times.There will be plenty more pictures to come cause hes having his first Easter this coming weekend and I'm going to have him all dressed up.Hes going to be so cute.

Beau and I finally hot some new Wheels last weekend.White wasn't my first choice of color but it was such a good price for what the truck had on it and the condition it was in that color became a tiny issue.Its soo sparkling lets just hope I have the time to keep it that way.

If anyone told me my boy would be Sitting Crawling, and Pulling to his Feet all before 9 months I would have said OK sure,not that I wouldn't have believe he could its just that it seems like its too soon for my baby to start his independence.We are saying the word DaDe(not dada already done that one) which Beau loves of course we change our combination of sounds every week too.
I've started to on the baby signing too help all of us out.And we dare not try to help him do anything cause hes determined too do a lot of his standing and crawling over things himself.If he needs help he will just sit on the floor and kick his legs as hard as he can.Thats the sign I need you.

He's so proud of himself in this picture and with good reason to be!

He keeps trying to hold on with one hand too and does great till he tries to bend down to grab something else on the floor but this child will do it soon enough.

These pictures are just too adorable not to sure in my opinion.In the last few months he has decided it's time to light up for the camera.So I take advantage when hes in his moments.He's getting so big.Decided also thats hes ready to pull up onto his feet all by his self the other night and got down too all by him self.
Hes tried just everything that we eat too.He loves Beef stew,Chicken Pot Pie(the veggies more then the chicken,hey I'm not going to knock it),Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Mommys Lasagna.Loves fresh fruit especially Mango,Bananas,Pear,Peaches,Apples,and Strawberries.This kid loves his Fruit and Vegetables.We are still working on the Sippy Cup little by little cause he still wants his milk out of a bottle buthe will take juice or water either way.We go out to eat I bring baby food just in cause but I have yet to need it.I ordered off the kids menu last Sunday when we went out cause he would eat it and all he left was the fries(because one I haven't given him fries yet) with the chicken fingers,fruit cup,bread and his juice.This kid can eat!!

8 Months!!

My little boy turned 8 months this week.Its amazing how time flies by.Summer will be here before we know it.When I brought him home year he was just a helpless little bundle of joy that we had jump at his every need.Nowhe hardly wants to stay in my lap long enough to eat for 5 minutes much less anything else and I kinda miss that already.As weird as it seems I do miss my quality time with him at nights sometimes(not that I must say thank you to him for sleeping though the night since he was 2 1/2 months).It amazing watching him grow and change so much in just 8 months.I can't imagine a year from now.
New things hes doing.If he sees food on my plate or bowl (even if he already ate)he will take it upon himself too help himself to my food(hands and all).Starting to hold the bottle on his own which is very helpful.And to those of us we are coming to see in the next few months fair warning.Baby proof as well as you can hes into everything he can reach and that portion is getting smaller and smaller of what he can not reach(he's fearless).But how can to get onto this face without cracking a smile!

We decided to take some pictures last night of all of us.I said Beau and I don't get into enough pictures with him and we needed to start doing that more so Ethan decided to light up after dinner last night.We had a family Valentines Dinner together Thursday and saved Friday for Beau and I.So I cooked and made dessert and both the boys loved it.
I tell you something I'm already in trouble because Ethan has already decided to start pulling up on things and let go a few times to with some hard head knocks already,but I have a fearless child.Hes not timid about going for anything.He can already steady himself on his knees only which is scary yet again.

This is what I discovered when I walked in yesterday morning after his nap.He has somehow figured out how to untie the bumper around his crib.So the bumper is going into storage for now until his little brother or sister comes along.Plus we had to lower the crib last week cause he is wanting now to try and pull up(yikes!) already.

Since Ethan started crawling our cats don't know what to do.They have to make more of an effort to get up higher to avoid tail biting pulling and kitty slapping as such.My oldest Noah doesn't care he just stays in the back bedroom and doesn't bother coming up front unless needed.We babyproofed this past weekend and we put up gates.Well after trying to go under the gates a few times (which are a half inch off the ground) they decided it was easier to just try and hop over.Lets just say its endless entertainment in our house right now.
There is a video I never put on here from right after Thanksgiving too of the kittens and us torturing them with the Laser Pointer(hehe).They are as far as I can tell weighing them they are both between 7 1/2 and 8 lbs and right at 7 months old.If those of you that are not cat people thats over aveage for a kitten.

We are officially crawling now.He started the middle of last week and gets faster and faster each day.I didn't think he would be crawling this early especially since everyone says bigger babies take longer to do things cause they have extra weight or height to adjust,but I put a few little videos below.Hes so cute too!Enjoy!

7 Months!

Yes!I am 7 months old now.I have a very active little man on my hands to I can already see
it.I know he will be crawling non-stop all over the place in a few weeks since hes got in a few crawling steps in at a time so far.He can now get into a sitting position on his own which hes very proud of too.At some point maybe he will let me get a picture of his new pair pearly whites he has now on the bottom(Yes we have teeth!).Those that missed it too on this past Sunday too.He was dedicated(pictures to come).Everything went very good.I think he enjoyed all the people staring at him(little ham!).Enjoy!

My Furry Babies at 6 months

Of course I have to brag on my other growing children here.We have had them 3 months now and they have doubled in size.Callie is the brains of the two.I have thought her to fetch and bring it to us even when we didn't start to play.She just brings the ball up to us when she feels like playing.She gets her brother in trouble by leaving him hanging a lot of the time.She will play with Ethan too which no other cat so far will do.Chatter will first off he has the right name.Hes a talker and always begging for attention and will get it any way possible by jumping on anything to get in your face.We have just started to let them sleep on the bed with us at night and its an adventure too.

Hey everyone just wanted to update everyone on what I'm doing now a days.I will be 7 months next Thursday.I'm getting a strong personality now.Which I can thank my mommy for.I pretty much eat anything and everything thats put in front of my mouth now.Mommy even lets me eat off her plate now like a big boy.I'm up on my hands and knees now too.I've managed too forwardly progress once instead of backwards so I expect to be crawling within a month.

Mommy why do have that camera in my face again.

My First Christmas!

Ethan just had his first Christmas and we were doing some traveling too all over the place so we would not miss anyone.We really enjoyed being with family all week long.And it was tring ,but it was well worth it.He really enjoyed being the center of attention and yes he came back even more rotten.It will take a week too decrease the rotten but thats ok.Its moments like this that you treasure forever.

We let Ethan open up a few gifts from Beau and I before and after we got back too.So yes the kid got to open presents all week long.

We are trying to open this ourself here without mommy's help.Have to see what is in there.

This was the best gift of all this Christmas!

Trying to play with as many toys as I can at once here.Having him a good old time.

Just chillin out over at Gigi's in Jacksonville.Accept for Christmas day this is pobably where we got to relax the most cause it was just us and my grandmother.

LOOK NO HANDS!Thats right Ethan is sitting all by himself now.I'm so proud.We went in for our 6 month checkup today and yes got shots(boo would say Ethan).My big boy is a whooping 17 pounds and 4 ounces and over 28 inches long.He will be 1/2 a year on monday man where does the time go.We will be traveling for christmas this year and he will finally meet the rest of the family (on both sides) he has not seen yet.Hes a mover so everyone better watch out he rolls and slides everywhere so he will need to be gated off starting right after christmas.Look out everybody here I come!

As you can tell Ethan is starting to get mobile.He has gotten up on his knees a few times but can't figure out yet where to go from there.Hes after Chatter in this picture.He loves the kitties.They are not scared of him(YET!).

As you can see my child loves to eat.Hes trying to assist me in helping with the spoon to make it gets in his mouth in record timing.Give me my Sweet Tators mom.
